Interviewer: Why do you sell shirts?
CowboyBenWade: I really just want someone at Wal-Mart to spend a little of their life reading my words. I've got a lot to say.
Interviewer: People are going to think you don't take showers - like maybe you're a dirty man or something.
CowboyBenWade: I started using soap a couple times a week, and it's made a big difference.
Interviewer: I guess you get used to it after a while, kinda like not washing your hair.
CowboyBenWade: Yeah it just takes a little while with the hair, but you're better for it. Most people are worried about the wrong things in life - there's more to this than how clean you are when you walk into somewhere. If you're too clean people might think you got something wrong with you.
Interviewer: I don't think there's anything more revolting than a clean cut guy that's never got his hands dirty.
CowboyBenWade: Yeah some men are soft like that, they just hang out in offices all day and pretend to be working.
Interviewer: When's the last time you had your hair cut?
CowboyBenWade: I think I was 13 years old when I went to the barber for the first time. I never went back - I can use a pair of scissors too.
Interviewer: You do pretty well for yourself.
CowboyBenWade: I don't really even need a mirror anymore - just go at it once it's down past your chin. That one time they put a bowl on my head and then just chopped around it. I wouldn't pay them to do that again.
